AC: Alternating Current

BIK is a perk that you may provide your employee, such as a company vehicle which they have to pay tax on.


DC: Direct Current

DC is an electrical current that always flows in one direction.

EV is a vehicle that uses one or more electric motors for propulsion.

ULEV is any vehicle that uses low carbon technologies.


ULEZ: Ultra Low Emission Zones

ULEZ are in place to help improve air quality.


WCS: Workplace Charging Scheme

WCS is a voucher-based scheme that contributes toward the costs of EV charging points and installation.


ZTEV: Zero Tailpipe Emissions Vehicle

ZTEV are vehicles with zero tailpipe emissions, such as an EV.
