CHALLENGES
Our customer based in the South of England has been a Northgate Vehicle Hire customer for over 5 years with a number of ICE vehicles on hire. One of the council’s main initiatives is to operate a cleaner and greener fleet.
The council’s main concern in implementing the switch to electrification, was that their premises has limited capacity to facilitate the charge points required for EVs.
SOLUTION
Having ascertained that they were suitable to make the switch, the council added 10 Peugeot e-Expert electric vehicles to their fleet. Due to the low mileage regularly driven by the vehicles, the customer was advised that, with the Allstar One Electric card, their drivers would only need to visit a public charging point once a week. This would ensure that, from one full charge, the vehicles would be able to operate efficiently within the 250 miles undertaken.
